Dubai’s Road and Transport Agency has announced at the World Government Summit that they are planning to launch passenger drones in the City of Dubai. The agency will use Chinese crafted EHang-184 passenger drone for this project. The passenger drone is scheduled to make its first trip in July this year.

The drone offers lightweight advantage as its frame and arms are made from aluminium alloy components and body is crafted from carbon fiber and epoxy composite. An aluminium alloy which is being used in the drone comes with an aerial grade.
Ehang CEO Huazhi Hu said, "The 184 provides a viable solution to the many challenges the transportation industry faces in a safe and energy efficient way. I truly believe that Ehang will make a global impact across dozens of industries beyond personal travel. The 184 is evocative of a future we've always dreamed of and is primed to alter the very fundamentals of the way we get around."
