India-based PG Foils Limited plans to establish a downstream aluminium manufacturing facility in Bahrain, focusing on electric vehicle (EV) battery foil and pharmaceutical foil production. Increased shipments from warehouses have been the main reason behind another week of a rise in billet inventories. Taiwan’s total aluminium scrap import during Jan-Oct’18 from the US stood at 46,100 tonnes, whereas in 2019 during the same phase the scrap import was recorded at 53,100, a rise by 15.18%, and by the excess capacity of 7000 tonnes.
