
The Conservatory and Window Company, an architectural installer has taken advantage of REAL Aluminium’s comprehensive aluminium package and boosted aluminium installations orders and turnover by at least 20% in less than two years. Aluminium products now accounts for around 40% of the Bristol-based installer’s supply.

The Conservatory and Window Company earlier offered PVCu products and decided to expand its product line by introducing aluminium in its range to cater to the growing demand. After associating with REAL Aluminium, the firm introduced a wide range of aluminium fenestration products including windows, bi-folding doors, sliding doors, French doors, residential doors, flat rooflights and lantern roofs.
Kevin Bray, managing director of The Conservatory and Window Company, explains: “PVCu has always been our bread and butter, but we wanted to expand and future-proof our operation by tapping into new opportunities with a company we could rely on.”
He added that they saw the potential of aluminium in boosting its business after measuring its enormous growth in the building and construction sector. When they collaborated with REAL Aluminium, they got the support and strength to venture into the lucrative world of aluminium.
“Aluminium is an attractive proposition for any installer because it opens them up to a more affluent customer base and brings generous profit margins, but we knew that we needed to choose the right partner to help us ramp up the business and achieve the sustained growth we were looking for.
The company has a long 20-year alliance with Customade Group, which owns the REAL Aluminium brand for their PVC offerings which is now extended to aluminium.
