
As updated by Shanghai Metals Market, social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, declined this week by 43,000 tonnes from last Thursday. The stocks stood at 1.14 million tonnes as of Thursday, 22 April 2021.

{alcircleadd}Primary aluminium stocks in Wuxi and Nanhai dropped the most. The inventories in Wuxi, Nanhai and Gongyi reduced by 16,000 tonnes, 22,000 tonnes and 7,000 tonnes to stand at 450,000 tonnes, 267,000 tonnes and 141,000 tonnes on Thursday, 22 April 2021. The stocks in Hangzhou and Chongqing stood at 104,000 tonnes and 4,000 tonnes, a drop of 1,000 tonnes each.
But the stocks in Shanghai and Tianjin registered a hike of 3,000 tonnes and 1,000 tonnes, standing at 99,000 tonnes and 60,000 tonnes. Inventories of aluminium in Linyi remained unchanged at 15,000 tonnes as of Thursday, 22 April 2021.
