
As updated by Shanghai Metals Market, social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, continued to decline this week. The stocks dropped by 8,000 tonnes from the week before to 954,000 tonnes as of Thursday, 03 June 2021.

{alcircleadd}Primary aluminium stocks in Wuxi, Shanghai and Gongyi contributed to the decrease, standing at 382,000 tonnes, 90,000 tonnes and 68,000 tonnes on Thursday, 03 June 2021, down 4,000 tonnes, 4,000 tonnes and 7,000 tonnes from last Thursday. Tianjin and Chongqing stocks remained unchanged at 60,000 tonnes and 5,000 tonnes.
Inventories of primary aluminium in Nanhai and Hangzhou rose 7,000 tonnes and 1,000 tonnes from week before to stand at 245,000 tonnes and 91,000 tonnes on Thursday. Stocks in Linyi stood at 13,000 tonnes, a drop of 1,000 tonnes.
