China’s aluminium billet inventories drop 11,600 tonnes on lower arrivals

According to Shanghai Metals Market, stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China dropped 11,600 tonnes on smaller arrivals at warehouses. Aluminium billet inventories stood at 90,900 tonne as of Thursday, 22 October 2020.

Foshan recorded the highest decline in the billet stocks. The inventories in Foshan dropped by 10,600 tonnes from last Friday to stand at 41,300 tonnes. In Changzhou and Nanchang, the billet stocks stood at 9,470 tonnes and 10,750 tonnes, down 580 tonnes and 1,950 tonnes from last Friday.

But the stocks in Wuxi registered a hike of 1,560 tonnes. The inventories came in at 18,380 tonnes today. The billet stocks in Huzhou remained unchanged at 11,000 tonnes.
