China celebrates the formation of Luoyang Aluminum-based New Material Industry Alliance

On November 2, the Luoyang Aluminum-based New Material Industry Alliance was officially established, marking a significant milestone for the city's industrial development. The alliance brings together 55 enterprises, third-party service institutions, financial institutions, research institutes, universities, social groups, and terminal application customers from the industry.

During the founding meeting, the members voted for the first council units before reviewing and approving the articles of association, with Wanji Holding Group Co., Ltd. elected as the first chairman unit and China Color Technology Co., Ltd. as the first secretary-general unit.

The aluminium-based new material industry is one of the 17 advantageous industrial chains planned by Luoyang. The establishment of the alliance is an essential step towards implementing the municipal Party committee and municipal government's goal to accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system. The alliance will promote the development of the aluminium-based new material industry to achieve leapfrog development.

The alliance aims to actively carry out industry investigation and research, participate in the development of the city's aluminium-based new materials industry development plan, carry out key technology research and development, improve the industrial chain, upstream and downstream product docking and cooperation, and improve the local matching rate, among other initiatives. These efforts will provide valuable services for the enterprises to explore the market and promote group development.

As an advantageous pillar industry in Luoyang, the aluminium-based new material industry has formed an integrated development chain that includes coal, electricity, aluminium, and aluminium deep processing, among others. The industry's market share in food foil, pharmaceutical foil, air conditioning foil, and other segments ranks among the forefront in China. By the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the scale of the city's aluminium-based new material industry is expected to exceed RMB 120 billion, contributing significantly to the city's economic growth.
