China aluminum alloy wheel exports down in May, but up during Jan - May

China exported 67,900 tonnes of aluminum alloy wheels in May 2015, valued at $340 million, down 3.3% and 3.1%,, respectively, from a year ago, data from the China Association of Automobile manufacturers (CAAM) showed.
The average export price was $5.00/kg in May.
Export volumes and value totaled 323,700 tonnes and $1.63 billion, respectively, during the first five months of the year, up 3.0% and 3.9%, year-on-year.
