India Government to bring changes in pricing structure to calculate average bauxite selling price
The government of India is planning to change the pricing structure to determine the Average Selling Price (ASP) of metallurgical-grade bauxite, in a bid to attract private players. In the present scenario, states are unable to auction the existing bauxite mines as companies find the selling price of raw material unfeasible. According to an official report, a change in pricing would be made by amending the mining law, as also agreed by the mining ministry. Many companies and industry associations will jointly revise the conversion factor to obtain the Average Selling Price of metallurgical bauxite. Domestic primary aluminium production in US surges 14% on year to 82,000 tonnes during April 2022
According to the latest data found by the US Geological Survey, the United States produced 82,000 tonnes of primary aluminium in April 2022, which was down by 2,000 tonnes from the output in March. But on a year-on-year basis, the output recorded a surge of 10,000 tonnes or 13.9 per cent from 72,000 tonnes. The daily average production in April came in at 2,740 tonnes, almost unchanged from 2,730 tonnes in March but up by 13.69 per cent from 2,410 tonnes a year ago. (foundry) and Metra S.p.A. (extrusion) production facilities in Italy. Savannah’s pilot aluminum cup program has come up with yet another idea of reutilizing the cups. The idea is to redesign aluminum cups into sustainable souvenirs. Nick Pulambo, Savannah City Council and the 4th District Alderman for the city of Savannah, said Downtown Business Association picked up the idea and commissioned Dana Richardson, a local artist, to transform the cups designs.
