The import for 2020 has been marked at 694,797 tonnes and the expenditure to stand at $223.66 million. However, when the import volume and expenditure for 2020 gets added to the existing three years, it denotes 28,59,327 tonnes and $1.09 billion respectively.

Argentina’s alumina import in 2017 stood at 422,862 tonnes and expenditures remained at $124.89 million, whereas in 2018 the import saw growth by 111.93%, as the import volume soared to 896,194 tonnes and expenditure rose to $432.28 million.
In 2019, the alumina import saw downfall by 5.65%, as the import volume dip to 845,474 tonnes and expenditures also fell to $309.82 million.
The import volume for 2020 has been analysed with de-growth by 17.82%, as the import volume to nose-dip and remain at 694,797 tonnes and expenditures to drop and stay at $223.66 million.
