Arcade of Aluminium, one of Sri Lanka's leading suppliers and traders of premium aluminium extrusions and accessories, including products from Alumex, serving the construction and industrial sectors, recently marked a milestone by successfully hosting its 15th annual get-together under the theme "Champions of Arcade."
The event recognised long-standing customers and key suppliers, appreciating their continued trust and support, while celebrating a shared journey of collaboration and progress towards greater milestones in the aluminium industry.
The firm's managing director, Arcade of Aluminium, in the annual get-together, conveyed to the stakeholders about the company's growth journey, starting from its humble beginnings with a five-member team in 2010 to becoming a trusted market leader today, which was driven by a commitment to consistently delivering products that surpass industry standards.
Heshan Padukka, the Managing Director of Arcade of Aluminium Ltd., on the theme of the event, stated, "Our customers and suppliers are the true champions driving the success of Arcade of Aluminium. They are the ones who take our products to the end-user and this theme was the best way to honour our patrons for the support given to us throughout the years."
Considering the company's core strategy, which keenly focuses on prioritising the needs of the end-users, he further added, "We have been known as a brand that upholds its promises, known for genuine quality and originality."
With consideration to a prevailing market concern, the managing director pointed out that while some fabricators and suppliers provide warranties of up to three years, many fail to honour these commitments when claims arise, primarily due to the absence of proper product standard certifications. Due to these concerns, the company has introduced its own A+ quality assurance certification, helping to make itself Sri Lanka's first company to develop this and further sell under its own accreditation.

The company's warranty policy stands as a first-of-its-kind in the Sri Lankan market, establishing a new benchmark for customer trust and product reliability. The managing director further emphasised that if a product, such as a cladding sheet, faces an issue within two years, Arcade of Aluminium will replace it with a new sheet and cover the required labour and accessories for re-installation.
On this, the Managing Director also further added, "We believe our customers kept faith in us, and we wanted to prove that their trust was well-placed." This helped provide the required affirmation, which perfectly aligns with the firm's dedication towards its consumers' satisfaction as well as the long-term reliability.
At the event, the company had announced its diversification into a new sector through the acquisition of Sigiri Asna Nature Resort and Spa. This strategic move marks a step beyond its core focus on building and construction. As part of the initiative, the resort, which blends modern amenities with Sri Lanka's scenic natural landscape, will extend exclusive stay discounts to the firm's customers.
In addition to this, the firm has also secured a partnership with Alumex PLC and is rapidly emerging as a leading supplier of Alumex products in Sri Lanka. Within just three years, the company expanded its footprint with multiple branches, reinforcing its industry leadership. With this strategy, Alumex continues to be the company's exclusive aluminium supplier, underscoring their long-standing partnership.
Some of the other international alliances include collaboration with Eurobond Euro Panel Products Limited for advanced cladding materials and Ferroli Gypsheet LLP for high-quality gypsum products.
The company has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining industry leadership by continuously investing in advanced technology and equipping its team with the training required to meet the evolving needs of the aluminium, glass and accessory sectors.
Based on this thought, Padukka stated, "Your support, trust and loyalty have been the driving forces behind our success. Without your partnership, none of this would have been possible, and we look forward to continuing this incredible journey. We will continue to hold annual get-togethers to honour your loyalty and thank you for choosing us as your partner."
This get-together served as a platform to strengthen relationships with customers, with encouragement for the attendees to visit Alumex branches for guidance on product innovation and training, highlighting the company's goal of uplifting the skills of apprentices, fabricators and consultants in the construction sector. Alumex will soon launch a highly anticipated new product designed to meet the rising demand for durable, superior aluminium solutions. The upcoming product is expected to raise industry benchmarks with enhanced quality and a wide range of finishes.
Ferroli Gypsheet LLP's Chief Sales Director, Amish Tankariya, emphasised the company's expertise in premium gypsum boards, plaster and accessories, noting that "their products are crafted to the highest standards and Arcade of Aluminium ensures they reach customers, making them a trusted choice for both residential and commercial projects in Sri Lanka."
Similarly, Eurobond Panel Products Ltd. Director, Divyam Shah, introduced the brand as "a global leader in aluminium composite panels (ACPs), renowned for delivering high-quality, durable cladding solutions." Speaking on their innovations, Shah added that the company has developed exclusive products such as fire-retardant Eurocomb panels and self-healing zinc options, addressing increasing concerns over fire-related accidents. As the exclusive agent in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Arcade of Aluminium makes these premium products available with an international warranty.
Given its extensive customer base, the firm has celebrated its 15th anniversary in two parts. The second edition featured celebrity performances, entertainment, food and beverages, culminating in an award ceremony where customers were recognised for their purchase volumes.
The company concluded the celebration with a prize distribution ceremony, rewarding customers based on purchase volumes. Winners were announced across five categories, with 17 customers securing a five-day, six-night Egypt tour, 9 receiving a three-day, four-night Bali tour, 21 winning a five-day, six-night Thailand tour, 15 enjoying a one-night all-inclusive cruise experience and 20 awarded a six-day, five-night full-board stay at a five-star hotel.
