For all the Apple brand lovers, September brings about a good news as the month is marked with the launch of the new Apple Watch which is getting slightly more affordable.
The second generation Apple Smart Watch will be available in ceramic, which is a new unusual material for Apple to make its smart watches. Notably, the Apple Watch Series 2 will also be available in aluminium and stainless steel like the first generation smart watches. The white ceramic version will however be heavier than its metallic counterparts.
The ceramic version is now branded as the Apple Watch Edition. Apple wants to attract the smart watch market, which their high-end solid gold watch could not capture. According to Apple, ceramic is more than four times harder than stainless steel, so the ceramic version of the watch will not have any chance of getting scratched up like the delicate and luxurious gold version. The new ceramic Apple Watch Edition will cost USD1,249 for the 38mm version, and USD1,299 for the 42mm, which marks a dramatic price drop from the original gold version that was priced at a whopping USD17,000.

Apple also announced that the new Apple Watch is coming with a faster dual-core processor that makes the watch faster despite the easy price catch.
Loyalists can pre-order the Apple Watch Series 2 on September 9th.
