

Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Bhd has revamped its board with the appointment of Amnah Apasra Emir Moehamad Izat Emir as an independent non-executive director, effective January 2, 2026.
{alcircleadd}According to a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the Shah Alam-based aluminium producer confirmed that Amnah, aged 60, joins the board, bringing decades of experience in architecture, urban development and infrastructure-led design.

She is the founder of Neuformation Architects Sdn Bhd, a practice recognised for its work across transport-oriented architecture, MICE facilities, information technology buildings and industrialised building system (IBS) construction.
Amnah has also played a role in major urban transformation initiatives. Among her previous assignments, she served as lead consultant to Khazanah Penang for the formulation of the George Town Penang Transformation Plan, as well as the Komtar Business Improvement District Scheme developed for Think City, a wholly owned subsidiary of Khazanah Malaysia.

In addition to her professional practice, Amnah has been active in academia. She has acted as an external lecturer for the University of Southern California summer programmes conducted in collaboration with Universiti Malaya and Universiti Teknologi Petronas. She is also an external adviser to the science and engineering faculty at Nottingham University.

Beyond her new role at Press Metal, Amnah currently sits on the board of SKB Shutters Corporation Bhd.
