American Industrial Partners (AIP) acquires Aluminium Duffel

The European leader in the manufacture and sale of aluminium rolled products to diverse industries worldwide, Aluminium Duffel (The Belgian rolling mill in Duffel near Antwerp) will pursue to functionalize under the ownership of American Industrial Partners (AIP) from 14^th June 2022.

Aluminum Duffel's history can be traced back to 1946 when the Feron family founded the aluminium rolling mill. Currently, it is the leading manufacturer of aluminium rolled products for various industries, such as Architecture & Design and ABS (Automotive Body Sheet). The company aims to be a leading rolling mill that offers customers low-carbon aluminium products.

(AIP) acquires Aluminium Duffel

Geert Vannuffelen, the General Manager of the Aluminium Duffel said: “Today marks a milestone in our company’s history. We are looking forward to proceeding under the new ownership of AIP, which is committed to a sustainable future for our company. We are convinced of good cooperation between both parties and we are positive about the first steps AIP has taken to further invest in our company, which demonstrates their engagement to reach the full potential of our plant.

The Aluminium Duffel business will continue to be managed by the existing local leadership team, and AIP does not anticipate any interruption in business operations for customers, suppliers, or employees.

AIP expects to provide additional capital to support the business going forward so that it can successfully execute its business plan, including working capital, continued employment and important capital investments.
