
During the AMAG Austria AG Metall Annual General Meeting 2019 three new members were elected to the Supervisory Board, a comapny press release says. Dr. Wolfgang Bernhard, Peter Edelmann and Thomas Zimpfer were elected to the Supervisory Board.
At the constitutive meeting of the Supervisory Board which followed the Annual General Meeting, Herbert Ortner, a member of the Supervisory Board since April 2018, was elected as the new Chairman of the Board. The 50-year-old industry expert succeeded Dr. Josef Krenner, who held the position since May 2012.

The company approved a dividend of EUR 1.20 per dividend-bearing share at the Annual General Meeting for the 2018 financial year. The amount remained unchanged from the previous year. Based on the current share price of EUR 32.30, this corresponds to a dividend yield of 3.7 %. The payout will be realised from April 17, 2019.
AMAG is a leading supplier of high-quality aluminium cast and flat rolled products for end-user industries like aircraft, automotive, sports equipment, lighting, mechanical engineering, construction and packaging industries. AMAG also holds a 20 per cent interest in the Canadian aluminium smelter Alouette, which, produces and exports high-quality primary aluminium.
