
Pinum, part of the Italian group Nusco and manufacturer of windows and doors, has opened a new showroom in Bucharest. The company made an investment of EUR 400,000. The new showroom will give an opportunity to the company to offer new range of doors and windows.

The company’s product portfolio consists of a wide range of windows and doors, such as interior doors, entrance doors and windows made of PVC and aluminium. The company reported sales of about €7.8m in 2016. Pinum is now expecting to further expand its sales by 15 percent this year.
Francesco Curcio, general executive director of Pinum, said, “We estimate a growth tendency based on a continuous development market, an evolution supported also by the consumers behavior. The new showroom represents an opportunity to present special models of doors, windows, and floor.”

Curcio added: “Last year, 70 percent of the total sales volume was ensured by doors, completed by carpentry of PVC and floors. After a wide process of modernization and technologization and an investment of EUR 500,000, the Pinum factory from Romania has currently a capacity of 6,000 doors/month and 2,000 windows/month, 15 percent of the production being exported in Italy and the US.”
