Aluminium stocks at Japan’s major ports fall 6.3% in July

The total inventories at Osaka, Yokohama and Nagoya stood at 234,000 tons in July down from 249,600 tons in June. Inventories were down 0.5% year-on-year. This week there is a summer holiday in Japan with a lot of factories shut and the draw-down in stock is partly in preparation.
