Aluminium billet inventories in China decline by 6,700 tonnes this week

According to Shanghai Metals Market, stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China declined 6,700 tonnes from previous week to stand at 87,900 tonne as of Thursday, 12 November 2020. Stocks in Foshan dropped sharply this week

Inventories in Foshan registered a drop of 4,600 tonnes from last week. The inventories stood at 30,400 tonnes on Thursday, 12 November 2020, from 35,000 tonnes on November 5. Stocks in Changzhou and Huzhou decreased by 1,860 tonnes and 1,000 tonnes to stand at 9,850 tonnes and 14,000 tonnes on Thursday, 12 November 2020.

But the inventories of aluminium billets rose in Wuxi and Nanchang today. The stood at 19,810 tonnes and 13,800 tonnes, up 40 tonnes 750 tonnes from last week
