
The Russian Federation is witnessing a rise in demand of its country-generated non-oil commodities in the international market. Among the key commodities finding global buyers are aluminium, aluminium alloys and semi-finished products.

As per the recent data, the growth of non-oil exports of the Russian Federation accounts for 14 per cent vis-à-vis a decline in exports in the previous year at 7.3 per cent. Referring to the growth, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said that there lies significant scope for the country in the European market.
Dvorkovich was making a presentation on Russia’s investment potential Rome.

In an earlier report, the Russian Export Center had reported that non-oil and non-energy exports of the country decreased by 7.3 per cent in 2016 from the previous year. The greatest portion in the exports had aluminium, aluminium alloys, aluminium semi-finished products, non-alloy steel, wheat and lumber.
