Alumina price in China inches down to RMB 2,917/t; A00 aluminium ingot price surges by RMB210/t
On Friday, April 14, the average alumina spot price in China inched down by RMB 1 per tonne to settle at RMB 2,917 per tonne. The prices in Lianyungang and Bayuquan have dropped by RMB 20 per tonne to settle at RMB 2,950 per tonne and RMB 3,050 per tonne. The price in Shanxi has fallen by RMB 10 per tonne to settle at RMB 2,940 per tonne. In Guizhou, Guangxi and Shandong, the prices have slipped by RMB 5 per tonne to peg at RMB 2,850 per tonne, RMB 2,800 per tonne and RMB 2,910 per tonne. The price in Henan has shown no change to halt at RMB 2,960 per tonne.
The A00 aluminium ingot price in China has surged by RMB 210 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,710 per tonne, with the average price expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 18,690 per tonne and RMB 18,730 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a price of RMB 0 to RMB 40 per tonne. To begin with, in Wuxi and Hangzhou, the prices have hiked by RMB 210 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,710 per tonne and RMB 18,730 per tonne.
In Shenyang and Tianjin, the prices have spiked up by RMB 190 per tonne to score at RMB 18,710 per tonne and RMB 18,690 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the prices in Gongyi and Foshan have shot up by RMB 180 per tonne and RMB 170 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,610 per tonne and RMB 18,820 per tonne. In Chongqing and Linyi, the prices have increased by RMB 160 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,820 per tonne and RMB 18,710 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium has grown by RMB 170 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,402 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have surged by RMB 200 per tonne to settle at RMB 26,500 per tonne and RMB 27,500 per tonne.
The aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have ascended by RMB 50 per tonne to score at RMB 19,250 per tonne and RMB 20,250 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to range between RMB 19,150 per tonne and RMB 19,350 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average prices are expected to stand between RMB 20,150 per tonne and RMB 20,350 per tonne. Aluminium alloy (A356) price has expanded by RMB 200 per tonne, residing at RMB 19,600 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne.
