Alba wins International Safety Award

Widely regarded as a premier event in the safety and health calendar, the International Safety Award by the British Safety Council recognises and rewards organisations that are committed to corporate safety and health. The award is acknowledged by the UK Health and Safety Executive as a powerful motivator for achieving high safety standards.
Commenting on Alba's success in winning the British Safety Council's International Safety Award, Alba's Chief Executive, Tim Murray said:
"There is nothing more important than the safety of our employees and we believe that strong safety performance is directly linked to strong operational performance. Winning the ‘International Safety Award’ is a matter of pride for Alba as it recognises the success of our “ZERO Accident Principles” with the belief that the Ownership of Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility.”
Alba has consistently maintained a high track record of safety, health and environment, and over the years, it has won numerous accolades for the same -- the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Award, the United Nations Environment Programme Award, the Safety Award from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain and the GCC award for the Best Environmental Activities By An Industrial Establishment.
