Alba announces the appointment of two new managers

Taleb Al Ansari joined Alba 1996 as a Trainee Supervisor, Casthouse and grew up the ladder in various departments including Casthouse and Workshop & Maintenance Services. He was made Superintendent Vehicle Maintenance in 2006 and consequently promoted to Senior Superintendent in 2014. A BSc graduate in Electric Engineering from the University of Bahrain, Taleb is currently pursuing Executive MBA from Ecole supérieure des sciences économiques et commerciales (ESSEC).
Khalil Ebrahim Mohammed started his career in Alba as a Process Control Shift Operator in 1996 and in 2002, was promoted to Process Control Supervisor. With extensive knowledge in operations, Khalil was made Operations Superintendent Reduction Lines 4 & 5 in 2010. Khalil has a BSc in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Huddersfield, UK and is now in the process of completing his Executive MBA from ESSEC.
Commenting on the promotions, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray said: “Alba is committed to provide opportunities for Bahraini nationals to grow in their careers and empower them with higher education and work skills to take up greater responsibilities. Taleb and Khalil have each demonstrated excellence and dedication in their performance and I am certain they will continue to shine in the new roles.”
With a total workforce of approximately 3,000 people, Alba boasts of a Bahrainisation rate of almost 87 percent and has established itself as a key supporter of the Kingdom's Bahrainisation efforts.
