The installation called "44" is made of more than 300 coral-shaped aluminium forms suspended from the ceiling through a sequence of thin cables. All the pieces were moulded by pouring molten aluminium into a large canister filled with rock-like resin shapes.

The designer said, "The exploration of materials is at the heart of Arbel's practice. By delving into their chemical, physical or mechanical properties, he discovers forms that are appropriate to the materials' intrinsic qualities."

The "44" series of aluminium sculpture lighting runs on low power electricity and it goes to the aluminium itself that lets the circular bulbs to be suspended without the use of electric cables.

The company is also showcasing the "44" lighting series at Euroluce in Milan, the International Lighting Exhibition in Europe that runs this year from 4th April – 9th April 2017.
