Description
Silicon carbon alloy, also known as high-carbon silicon or high-carbon ferro silicon, is a silicon- and carbon-containing alloy used in steelmaking and iron casting applications. Manufactured in China, the product contains silicon and carbon in different proportions depending on the selected grade. It can be used as an alloying material and as an alternative to ferro silicon in certain metallurgical processes.

Features:
- Silicon carbon alloy contains approximately 60-70% silicon and 15-25% carbon, depending on the grade. It can be used as an alloying agent to replace ferro silicon in electric furnace applications.
- The material can also serve as an alternative to ferro silicon and recarburizer in the iron casting industry. Multiple grades and particle sizes are available to suit different metallurgical processing requirements.
Applications:
Silicon carbon alloy is primarily used in steel plants and iron casting operations. Its silicon and carbon content makes it suitable for applications where ferro silicon replacement, carbon addition and alloying are required.
The product is offered by a manufacturer based in China with multiple grades, size ranges and customization options for industrial requirements.
