Aluminium Strontium Alloy

Features:

• Contains 9-11% strontium, improving the shape and distribution of silicon crystals in aluminium, enhancing its mechanical properties.
• Acts as an excellent long-lasting metamorphic agent with a lasting effect and no excessive deterioration. The remelting metamorphic effect is hereditary, ensuring consistent performance.
• Easy to use, with minimal pollution and loss during application.

Usage Method:

• Bake and dry the product before use.
• Add temperature range: 720-760°C.
• Add 0.02-0.06% strontium to the aluminium solution. The dosage will vary based on alloy type, with the economic usage determined through testing. The reference amount is 0.2-0.6% of the amount of aluminium being treated.
• Strontium in returned furnace material remains effective without needing additional supplementation.
• Deterioration effect time: 4-8 hours.
• Operation: Place the block alloy metamorphic agent into the aluminium liquid, stir evenly after melting, allow to stand for 10-20 minutes, then pour a test rod. Pour when the brake check is normal.
• Break 1:3 inspection: The furnace test rod size should be 12x100. A normal break will show silver-white velvet, with small, uniform grain refinement and no silicon bright spots.
• Metamorphic treatment is generally done after refining and can be performed twice for further refinement.
