Features:

This product is a white or black block gas removal agent designed for use in the aluminium industry. It effectively removes gases like Cl₂, N₂, and CO₂ produced during the physical and chemical refining of liquid aluminium. It serves a crucial function in gas removal and impurity refinement, with a performance similar to C₂Cl₆, making it suitable for most aluminium alloys, except aluminium-magnesium alloys.

Dosage:

Add 3-5% of the product's weight in liquid aluminium.

Storage:

Store in a ventilated and dry area. Use immediately after opening.
Quality guaranteed for 12 months from the production date. Open-bag products must be used within 4 hours.
If packaging remains intact and there’s no agglomeration or dampness, the product remains usable even beyond 12 months.

Application Range:

Ideal for all aluminium alloys except magnesium-aluminium alloy.
Removes gases and quickly picks up slag for casting.

Usage Method:

Coat the bell cover with protective paint and heat (avoid direct water contact).
Use a slag cleaning agent before refining.
The product should be added at a temperature of 700-740°C.
Add flux for 10-15 minutes at a time, turning when reflecting.
For deeper refining, increase pressure and capacity for better results.
Avoid pressing the product to the bottom of the furnace; keep it 100mm away from the furnace floor.
Use a dispersed or plumb bell cover for large furnaces to avoid flux concentration and ensure proper operation.
