Usage and Dosage:
- Calculate the required amount of intermediate alloys based on the desired element content in the melt.
- Typically used to adjust composition, add the intermediate alloy to the furnace charge and spread it evenly in the middle layer of the furnace charge.
- After melting, stir evenly, sample and analyze for proper composition.
