
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has escalated by RMB 230 per tonne to close the week, ending July 8, at RMB 18,460 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are estimated to range between RMB 18,440 per tonne and RMB 18,480 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at a discount price of 50 and 10 per tonne.

In Wuxi, the primary aluminium ingot price has recorded a maximum increase of RMB 240 per tonne coming in at RMB 18,460 per tonne. The primary aluminium price in Hangzhou has witnessed an RMB 220 per tonne rise closing at RMB 18,500 per tonne. In Linyi, the A00 aluminium price has seen a growth of RMB 210 per tonne resulting in RMB 18,540 per tonne. The aluminium ingot prices in Gongyi and Foshan have expanded by RMB 200 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,370 per tonne each, followed by an RMB 160 per tonne hike in Chongqing for the aluminium price to settle at RMB 18,420 per tonne. In Shenyang, the aluminium ingot price has moved upward by RMB 140 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,420 per tonne, noted SMM on Friday, July 8. In Tianjin, the ingot price has seen the lowest surge of RMB 120 per tonne, closing at RMB 18,410 per tonne.
Today in China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has increased by RMB 218 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,984 per tonne.
According to the data shown by SMM, the high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and the high purity aluminium (99.996%) prices have augmented by RMB 200 per tonne to stop at RMB 26,500 per tonne and RMB 27,500 per tonne, respectively.
The Australian alumina FOB price has declined by US$5 per tonne, closing the week at US$355 per tonne.
Today, due to the escalating prices of primary aluminium ingots, aluminium alloy (A356) price has enjoyed an elevation of RMB 250 per tonne, arriving at RMB 19,550 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 19,700 per tonne, says SMM. The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have refrained from showing any change.
The price of caustic soda (32% concentration) in Henan has decreased by RMB 20 per tonne to stop at RMB 4,050 per tonne. The price of caustic soda flakes in Inner Mongolia has slumped by RMB 100 per tonne settling down at RMB 4,350 per tonne.
The aluminium powder price in China has gained RMB 0.20 per kg to settle at RMB 20.30 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 20.20 per kg and RMB 20.40 per kg.
