
A00 aluminium ingot price has elevated by RMB 40 per tonne, resting at RMB 19,330 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Friday, December 2. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 19,310 per tonne and RMB 19,350 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at premium prices of RMB 70 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne.

The provinces in China have witnessed augmenting prices today, with the aluminium price rising the highest in Hangzhou by RMB 80 per tonne, closing at RMB 19,355 per tonne, while the aluminium price in Tianjin has heightened by RMB 60 per tonne to arrive at RMB 19,300 per tonne. The aluminium prices in Foshan, Wuxi and Chongqing have escalated by RMB 50 per tonne to close at RMB 19,350 per tonne, RMB 19,315 per tonne and RMB 19,400 per tonne. Lastly, the aluminium prices in Gongyi, Shenyang and Linyi have all gained RMB 40 per tonne, pegging at RMB 19,150 per tonne, RMB 19,250 per tonne and RMB 19,330 per tonne.
In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has de-escalated by RMB 52 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,950 per tonne on Friday, December 2.
The prices of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) have refrained from any change.
The averaged alumina price in China has shot up by RMB 4 per tonne, stopping at RMB 2,820 per tonne, while the alumina price in Shandong has travelled up the graph by RMB 5 per tonne to RMB 2,750 per tonne. The alumina price in Guangxi has escalated by RMB 15 per tonne, halting at RMB 2,740 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has plunged by RMB 50 per tonne to stop at RMB 20,500 per tonne, with averages ranging between RMB 20,300 per tonne and RMB 20,700 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloy (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have remained stoic at their previous day’s position.
The price of aluminium powder in China has not changed today at all.
