
On Thursday, April 6, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has grown by RMB 20 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,610 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 50 to RMB 10 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,590 per tonne and RMB 18,630 per tonne.

The price in Gongyi has ascended by RMB 40 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,560 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 30 per tonne in Foshan and Chongqing to settle at RMB 18,750 per tonne and RMB 18,760 per tonne. In other provinces like Shenyang and Linyi, the prices have fallen by RMB 30 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,590 per tonne and RMB 18,610 per tonne. In Wuxi and Hangzhou, the prices have dipped by RMB 15 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to score at RMB 18,590 per tonne and RMB 18,630 per tonne. The price has remained unchanged at RMB 18,590 per tonne in Tianjin.

The average alumina spot price in China has inched down by RMB 1 per tonne to reside at RMB 2,920 per tonne. In Shandong and Guangxi, the prices have dropped by RMB 5 per tonne to settle at RMB 2,915 per tonne and RMB 2,810 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has hiked by RMB 30 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,332 per tonne. The Australian alumina FOB price has decreased by US$4 per tonne to come in at US$358.
