
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price has continued to grow by RMB 60 per tonne to close the week ending February 18 at RMB 22,720 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 22,700 per tonne and RMB 22,740 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 20-20 per tonne.

In Gongyi and Foshan, the primary aluminium ingot price has climbed by RMB 60 per tonne as well to stand at RMB 22,570 per tonne and RMB 22,820 per tonne, respectively, while the price in Wuxi and Hangzhou has expanded by RMB 55 per tonne to settle at RMB 22,710 per tonne and RMB 22,720 per tonne. In Tianjin, A00 aluminium ingot price has gained RMB 40 per tonne to RMB 22,690 per tonne, and the price in Shenyang and Linyi has increased by RMB 30 per tonne to peg at RMB 22,680 per tonne and RMB 22,720 per tonne.
Low-carbon aluminium price has built-up by RMB 59 per tonne to score at RMB 23,408 per tonne as of February 18, found the Shanghai Metals Market.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has increased by RMB 50 per tonne on Thursday, February 18, to come in at RMB 24,050 per tonne, with average prices likely to range between RMB 23,950 per tonne and RMB 24,150 per tonne.
However, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have remained restrained at RMB 22,300 per tonne and RMB 23,500 per tonne, respectively.
Among primary aluminium input costs, Australian alumina FOB price has grown by US$2 per tonne to close the week at US$405 per tonne, recording the sixth consecutive day of hike.
Caustic soda (32% concentration) price in Shandong has surged by RMB 90 per tonne on Thursday, February 18, to stand at RMB 1,090 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 1,040 per tonne and RMB 1,140 per tonne, learned SMM.
