Yuengling and Keep Texas Beautiful partnership yields lager beer in aluminium cans

A non-profit organisation that promotes and inspires Texans to preserve the environment, Keep Texas Beautiful has entered a partnership with the Yuengling Company, where the latter is going to donate US$1 per Yuengling Traditional Lager case sold, packed in aluminium beverage cans.

The total estimated contribution by Yuengling would amount to US$50,000 in a donation to Keep Texas Beautiful. Aluminium being a 100% recyclable material, will efficiently induce a circular economy and introduce the idea of environmental consciousness in Texas.

This alliance is a result of the family-owned brewery’s noble intention of giving back to Texas in a broader sense, by which the area will be eligible to sell Yuengling’s 194-year-old signature variants of beer.

Approximately by March 2023, Texans will find special edition packages of 12-ounce cans of Yuengling Lager in 12-pack configurations all throughout their vicinity.

Each can would be marked with the Lone Star State’s emblem and will feature a Q.R. code scanning which buyers would get to learn more about Keep Texas Beautiful, a Yuengling Clean-up Challenge. Interested buyers would be able to make donations through the Q.R. as well.

The Employee Engagement & Culture Manager and 6th generation family member of D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc, Debbie Yuengling, proposed: “As a family-owned and operated company from Pennsylvania, we are proud to brew Yuengling in Texas and more so, give back to Texas.”

“As America’s Oldest Brewery, our commitment to having a beer for every taste on every occasion reflects our love of bringing people together and making a positive impact on our communities,” Debbie added.

“That is why today, we are honoured to work alongside Keep Texas Beautiful and give back to the state and people that embody the meaning of community,” the conversation ended with her saying the above.
