Arconic reports improved revenue in Q2 2017 driven by higher volumes

Arconic posted revenue of $3.3 billion, an increase of one per cent year over year. The company reported net income of $212 million in the second quarter. Arconic reported consolidated adjusted EBITDA of $444 million, an increase of 3 per cent year over year.

Constellium reports record adjusted EBITDA during Q2 2017; revenue up 12%

Constellium reported revenue of €1.4 billion in Q2, up 12% from Q2 2016 due to higher aluminium prices. The company reported net income of €15 million. The company posted an adjusted EBITDA of €127 million for the second quarter of 2017. The total shipments of 383k metric tons, down 1% compared to the second quarter of 2016.

Shandong Weiqiao Aluminum & Electricity increases its capacity of aluminium alloy product

Shandong Weiqiao Aluminum & Electricity Co., sharply increased the capacity of aluminium alloy product over the past years. According to numbers released by the company in March this year, the total capacity of aluminium alloy product was 4.91 million tonnes. 

NALCO expands value-added portfolio: Starts producing AA 3105 aluminium alloy

Nalco started production of AA 3105 aluminium alloy comprising aluminium, manganese, and magnesium at its rolling plant in the smelter division. The new product A3105 aluminium alloy is expected to find a solid market in the electrical components and consumption market.

Aluminium Extrusion Industries Nigeria reports 43% drop in profit

Aluminium Extrusion Industries plc Nigeria has reported results for second quarter 2017. The company’s net profit has declined 43% to NGN34.1 million against NGN60.1 million, reported during the same period of FY2016.
