A solid wheel and a two spoke version have been added to WDS Components LTD's three spoke aluminium handwheel lineup. The solid handwheels boost safety by eliminating the possibility of a finger trap, making them perfect for usage in more dangerous areas or when a higher rotational speed is necessary.

The new two spoke option offers versatility in terms of price and appearance. The corrosion resistance and glossy finish of aluminium construction make it very long-lasting. Options that have been anodized additionally offer better durability and protection.
The handwheel designs have handgrips that make it possible to exert more force, increasing their adaptability to use with different machines and shaft sizes and weights. Options for the grip material include aluminium, Bakelite, which is strong and affordable and sturdy polyamide, which matches the handwheel's body colour.

The grip also increases the precision of adjustment when increased accuracy is needed. The grips can be used in a fixed or rotating version, with the rotating handle being installed on a spindle for simple rotation.
The handwheels may also be utilised for manual valve control and are excellent for machine applications demanding adjustment or calibration. It may be used in any application that calls for shaft rotation control, even though the designs are frequently employed for precise machine operation, including the exact control of cutters.
The new handwheels are an addition to WDS' current line, which features a broad selection of styles, components, and sizes. Cast iron, as well as a variety of other metals and polymers, is among the materials that may be used to create spoked and solid dish handwheels. There are several hand grip alternatives, including foldable ones.
