Vedanta owned aluminium smelter plant in Jharsuguda has received the second prize in the National Energy Conservation Awards in aluminium sector.
General Manager of the Vedanta Smelter Plant, Bijneswar Mohanty received the award in New Delhi recently.
Various companies were audited by the Ministry of Power for energy consumption and Vedanta was shortlisted. The minerals and metal behemoth has bagged the prestigious award for the third consecutive time.
