Vedanta elevates Kanishk Agarwal as CMO for Base Metals & Concentrates, European Market
The global diversified metal and mining giant Vedanta Resources Limited with its headquarters in London, UK has come with organisational changes in the recent period which includes elevating Kanishk Agarwal to CMO, Europe for Base Metals & Concentrates.
Kanishk, one of the youngest CMO’s in the metal industry will be shouldering the responsibility for sales of Copper rods, aluminium value-added products and ingots & zinc concentrate to the European region.
He is an Alumnus from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and Campion School. He has been associated with the Group for over 3 years and has worked extensively across functions like finance, marketing, investor relations, strategy formulation in different commodities within the Group. In his previous role, he was Country Manager responsible for sales of aluminium billets, foundry alloys, slabs, wire rods and ingots to new markets and customers in Europe.
Europe is a strategically important region for the company, and it has only increased its presence year on year highlighting that the company is in the market for the long run.
