Vedanta appoints Sunil Duggal as the new CEO
Vedanta Limited has announced the appointment of Sunil Duggal as its new Chief Executive Officer. Sunil Duggal is the former CEO of Hindustan Zinc Ltd.

Sunil, associated with Vedanta for the past 10 years, was given additional charge as Vedanta’s Interim CEO in March 2020. Sunil takes over as CEO at a time when the company is gearing up for the next phase of growth with full commitment to the nation’s call for `Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
Over 50 percent of country’s imports are in the natural resources and the company is striving to raise domestic production to substitute imports.
