
Vedanta, the leading manufacturer of aluminium in India, has appointed Dilip Sinha as the new chief human resources officer (CHRO). In his new position, Sinha, who has 24 years of extensive expertise in human resource management, will oversee all aspects of HR for Vendanta's aluminium company. Vedanta Aluminium operates one of the world’s leading single largest aluminium smelters in Jharsuguda, Odisha.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as chief human resources officer at Vedanta Ltd,” said Sinha.
Dilip Sinha has a lot of experience developing and benchmarking operational best practices, competence profiling and mapping procedures, among other processes, to concentrate on developing skills to satisfy the organization's present and future objectives and purpose.
He formerly worked at JSW Steel as senior vice president and head of human resources before joining Vendanta. In the past, he held the positions of head of human resources for Reliance Retail, group head and CHRO for Rajan Raheja Group, group head (global)-HR for ASTARC GROUP, and chief-people office for Future Group in Mumbai.
