US imports of crude metals and alloys from GCC is 6% of its primary aluminium production; IAI data suggests market stability

According to data presented by the International Aluminium Institute (IAI), the total aluminium production in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for February 2024 decreased by 37,000 tonnes, or 6.95 per cent month over month, from 532,000 tonnes recorded in January 2024. This can be mainly attributed to the lesser number of days in February.
