The Aluminium Show premiers at The Lutcher Theater for the Performing Arts

Aluminium has forayed into multiple arenas of our daily life. From art to automobiles the metal’s presence is almost a given today. Adding one more dimension to its vast application area aluminium has recently now made it to the stage.  A new family show titled the Aluminium Show has been added by The Lutcher Theater for the Performing Arts in Orange County, Texas; it was premiered Friday last week amid great applause.

The new and unique show brings aluminium- the light metal, the music and the artists together on stage in a magical creation combing visual theatre, dance, and humour into an exciting, unforeseen, multi-sensory experience. The performing troupe- Aluminum Group has used a huge aluminium sphere as a prop to represent a futuristic planet into which the play’s main protagonist happens to step into. As the play progresses, aluminium pipes come to life right before the audience’s very eyes, transforming into imaginary, mysterious, and playful characters.

The show, meant for all ages and languages, is written and directed by Lior Kalfo, creator of the internationally successful shows “Voca People,” “Fantasy,” and “Glow,” and runs for 75 minutes at a stretch with no intermission in between.
