Taural India participates in GIFA 2023: Flagship aluminium sand-casted designs on display

Taural India, a turnkey aluminium solutions provider, participated in the international GIFA 2023 exhibition to showcase their impressive achievements in aluminium sand casting. The event allowed Taural India to exhibit their dedication to the "Make in India" and "Atmanirbhar Bharat" initiatives, highlighting its ability to produce globally standardized critical components locally.

Founded in 2016 as a joint venture between Indian entrepreneur Bharat Gite and the renowned Thoni Alutec group, Taural India has rapidly become a prominent manufacturing name. The company's skilled and experienced team provides exceptional aluminium solutions catering to complex and intricate business requirements.

At GIFA 2023, Taural India displayed their state-of-the-art aluminium sand-casting products designed for defence, aerospace, energy, medicine, and robotics industries. The highlight of their exhibition was the Traverse Bolster, a vital component used in the construction of railway coaches. This component, comprising two parts that form a single coach, perfectly demonstrated Taural India's precision casting capabilities.

Praising the company, Bharat Gite exclaimed: “Taural India is a complete replica of Thoni Alutech in Europe in terms of casting size. Both regions are equally capable in terms of casting production. However, there is a difference in the market demand in India, which primarily requires limited aluminum castings weighing up to 500 kg. In contrast, Thoni Alutech in Europe produces components weighing up to 1500 kg. Despite this difference, India possesses the same expertise, state-of-the-art facilities, and capabilities as Thoni Alutech in Europe.”

Bharat Gite acknowledges the challenge of skilled manpower in India, particularly the need for practical experience and real-life skills. During the event, Bharat Gite displayed immense excitement for participating in GIFA 2023. He said: “We made the strategic decision to localize production under the ‘Make in India’ project by Prime Minister Modi. Since our inception, our focus has been on serving local multinational customers, and we have successfully met their requirements. However, we have noticed an exciting shift in demand. Our multinational customers now seek not only local supply but also international reach for our products."

“This change is driven by factors such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict, fluctuating oil prices, and the desire for a secondary supplier beyond China. As a result, Taural India has made significant strides, capturing a notable 20-25 percent share of the export market,” he concluded.
