Spain’s aluminium stranded wire export grows in last three years
Aluminium stranded wire export by Spain grew in 2017. The figures showed a significant surge in volume and value last year. Aluminium stranded wires and cables are mostly used in overhead power transmission and distribution applications in modern residential and industrial constructions.
The country has been following an upward pattern for the export of aluminium stranded wire. It is estimated that the exports of this product will increase in both volume and value in 2018.
Global trade data suggests that the total volume of 8610 tonnes of aluminium stranded wire will be shipped by this year end. The country is estimated to earn revenue amounting to US$43 million in 2018.
Spain exported 3083 tonnes of aluminium stranded wire worth US$13 million in 2016.Aluminium stranded wire export from Spain totalled 7154 tonnes and was valued at US$29 million in 2017 (estimated data).
The top importers who have been buying aluminium stranded wire from Spain manufacturers and sellers include Germany, Portugal, Pakistan, China, Norway, and France etc. (2017 data).
