{alcircleadd}RIMOWA, a German-based luxury luggage manufacturer, has collaborated with Lehni, a Swiss furniture manufacturer, to create a limited edition homeware collection. The collaboration features two storage pieces designed specifically for the firm's two cabin-sized suitcases, which are the RIMOWA Lehni Bench and the RIMOWA Lehni Drawer.
The latest innovation in this collaboration has been crafted by making use of anodised aluminium in sleek black or silver colour, designed to give a fresh twist to Lehni’s modular furniture system. This way, the firm offers a refined interior solution, which aids in protecting and displaying the luggage.
It has been handcrafted in Lehni’s Zurich workshop, where the bench is deemed to showcase open shelving, holding up to two cabin cases side by side. On the other hand, the drawer offers stacked storage within an artistic frame, complete with a closed compartment for smaller items.

Not only this, but the collaboration is deemed to bring together two very established names in terms of aluminium craftsmanship. Both firms being a great expertise in their respective domains, what stands out the most is that this partnership marks the first time Lehni has adapted its modular system to create a specialised storage solution designed specifically for suitcases.
Mathieu Plenier, the Chief Marketing Officer, Rimowa, stated, "Together with Lehni, we crafted made-to-measure pieces that perfectly marry our Swiss and German design backgrounds while celebrating our shared dedication to aluminium craftsmanship. This collaboration transforms the way our suitcases live at home, creating innovative storage solutions that are both purposeful and beautifully engineered."

Concurrently, Lehni's owners and directors, Benedetta Agostini and Antonio Monaci, described the result as “technology and beauty applied to aluminium.” They emphasised that it represents “a design product made entirely in Switzerland to the highest aesthetic and quality standards – characteristics that set both brands apart in the market.”
For the launch, the product will be unveiled at the RIMOWA Lehni Visitor Centre in the Milan Design Week, happening from April 21–24 at Via Achille Maiocchi 10.
