<p>Applied Partners, a company that specializes in remediation has agreed to purchase the Century Aluminum plant in Ravenswood for $15 million. The company will house one of its own subsidiaries on the site and make spaces available for other companies too in the total 1,800 acres of redeveloped lands.<br /><br />The planned purchase was submitted to the federal Securities Exchange Commission on Dec. 2 and the process is expected to complete by the end of next March.
