
As updated by Shanghai Metals Market, social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, increased slightly this week. Inventories stood 719,000 tonnes as of Thursday, October 15 2020, an increase of 4,000 tonnes from a week ago.

Primary aluminium stocks in Wuxi and Nanhai increased by 7,000 tonnes and 5,000 tonnes from a week ago to 221,000 tonnes and 200,000 tonnes as of Thursday, 15 October 2020. Stocks in Hangzhou stood at 73,000 tonnes, up 1,000 tonnes.
Inventories of aluminium in Shanghai and Gongyi stood at 118,000 tonnes and 53,000 tonnes. That was down 4,000 tonnes and 5,000 tonnes from last Thursday. Primary aluminium stocks in Tianjin, Chongqing and Linyi remained unchanged at 46,000 tonnes, 3,000 tonnes and 5,000 tonnes.
