Raw Aluminium is one of the top export items of Norway, other than Crude Petroleum, Petroleum Gas, Non-fillet Fresh Fish and Refined Petroleum.

The international trade data indicates Norway’s export of Aluminium Bar Rods and Profiles market is volatile.
Norway’s total export of aluminium bar rods and profiles from 2017-19 was posted 72,098 tonnes, which accounted $20.66 million. The year 2020 has been projected a downturn of 25.17%, when added, the estimated export volume with the previous years it stands at 89,585 tonnes and foreign revenue generation reflects at $26.16 million.
In the year 2017, the total export of aluminium bar rods and profiles stood at 26,680 tonnes, while in 2018 showed a steep decline of 17.36%. The total export was recorded 22,047 tonnes, in volume 4633 tonnes less than the previous year.
The year 2019 again showed a positive trend by achieving export of aluminium bar rods and profiles export at 23,371 tonnes, a rise up by 5.66%.
As projected for 2020 there is a steep fall of 25.17% in export. The total volume of aluminium bar rods and profiles exports stands at 17,487, the lowest if compared from 2017-2020. The volume de-growth accounted for is 5884 tonnes.
