Northwest Aluminium bags Nadcap NDT 18 Month Certification Cycle Reward

Northwest Aluminium, one of the largest manufacturers of roofing & ventilation products in Ireland & the UK, has received the Nadcap NDT 18 Month Certification Cycle Reward. As per the official website of eAuditnet of the PRI (Quality Evaluation Association) certification, Northwest Aluminium has been awarded an 18-month certification cycle. This recognition fully acknowledges Northwest Aluminium's competence in maintaining the Nadcap non-destructive testing project.

Non-destructive testing certification from Nadcap is required to deal with civil aviation vendors' entrances. Northwest Aluminium products can access the local and international civil aviation markets thanks to the Nadcap non-destructive testing special process certification audit.

The Nadcap non-destructive testing certification differs from others in that it is more comprehensive and focuses on each stage of the process, including qualification/certification, process control, equipment calibration, system performance, and actual hardware testing. To get an 18-month certification cycle reward, ensure that each audit has at most one significant non-conformance, that the overall number of nonconformities is at most four, and that the audit fulfils the criteria twice in a row.

To ensure certification audit success, the Quality Management Department's quality inspection station fully prepares for the preliminary certification audit, holds a special arrangement meeting, forms a special audit team, and re-confirms and improves the equipment status, product requirements, process control situation, personnel qualifications, and other aspects based on inspection lists and non-destructive testing documents. The on-site audit took place on September 21st and 22nd.
