
The Netherlands' estimated imports of aluminium household articles dropped 11.35 per cent year on year in 2018. China, Germany and Belgium continued to be the leading exporters, supplying 9667 tonnes, 2071 tonnes and 1300 tonnes respectively.

{alcircleadd}Exported aluminium household articles from the Netherlands were at 6879 tonnes in 2018, registering a 20.22 per cent year on year growth.
Our own third party data shows the Netherlands’ estimated aluminium household articles import was at 16422 tonnes in 2018, a decrease of 2103 tonnes, from 18525 tonnes in 2017. The value of aluminium household articles import was at USD 78 million and USD 85 million in 2018 and 2017 respectively.

The country’s import of these products is estimated to be about 17491 tonnes by the end of this year, up 6.5 per cent from 2018. The value of import is estimated to stand at USD 73 million.
On the export side, the Netherlands exported an estimated 6879 tonnes of aluminium household articles in 2018, compared with 5722 tonnes in 2017. This marked an increase of 1157 tonnes or 20.22 per cent year on year. The value of aluminium household articles export was at USD 24 million and USD 19 million in 2018 and 2017 respectively.

The Netherlands’ total export is estimated to remain unchanged at 6851 tonnes in 2019. The value of export is estimated to be about USD 19 million.
Most of the country’s aluminium household articles export goes to Belgium, France and Germany among others.
