Nalco adds new value added product to its portfolio

India’s Navaratna public sector enterprise and leading integrated aluminium producer National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has expanded its value added products portfolio with the launch of AA 3105 Alloy Fan Blade stock. The superior value added rolled product can be used for a wide range of applications.

Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD of the company said, “With this product, NALCO will be widening its base in value added products and also be an active partner in the Make in India movement. This value-added product will strengthen the NALCO’s product mix and cater to the requirements of customers.”

In July this year, the company announced that they had started the production of the alloy at its rolling plant in the smelter division.

The first consignment of this product was flagged off on 31st August 2017 by Shri R.K. Mishra, Executive Director (S&P), Shri A. Acharya, General Manager (Finance) and Shri Sadashiv Samantray, General Manager (Marketing), along with senior officials and employees of the plant.
