Metalline pioneers use of novel stone textured finish on aluminium cladding panels
Architectural fabrications firm Metalline has become the first to use an innovative natural stone-textured finish on their wide range of CWCT certified rain-screen aluminium cladding panels, the company said in a release recently.
Rainscreen Panels supported by carriers and bracketry are designed to allow ventilation and drainage run-off in line with current building regulations.
Aluminium cladding rainscreen panels serve this purpose while offering protection to the external façade of a building. Aluminium panels being lightweight help in project erection and the metal’s inherent formability enables designers to experiment with new designs. For refurbishment projects, aluminium cladding rainscreen panels work best because they are easy to install and help in giving an instantaneous fresh, contemporary look.
The UK based rain-screen cladding specialist has worked with Alumet on a number of big projects where it used this new finish.
Metalline has used solid aluminium flat rolled sheet and an A1 rated non-combustible insulation core in their new line of products to meet industry standards and latest customer requirements.
